A camera that earns its place by being wearable rather than by winning specification battles. If you want point-of-view footage without a bulky camera on your head, nothing else is this convenient — and the image quality is far better than the size suggests.

Our take
DJI Osmo Nano review: a magnetic camera small enough to forget you are wearing
A thumb-sized magnetic camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and 13.5 stops of dynamic range. The Osmo Nano is built for hands-free, point-of-view footage nothing else can get.
What we like
- Genuinely tiny — mounts where no other camera fits
- Dual-sided magnetic mounting is fast and secure
- 1/1.3-inch sensor with 13.5 stops of dynamic range
- Built-in storage in 64GB and 128GB versions
What to watch
- Fixed storage — choose your capacity carefully at purchase
- Small body means modest battery life
- Not the camera for framed, deliberate shots
- Magnet strength demands sensible mounting on fast activities
Quick answers
How does the magnetic mounting work?
The Nano attaches magnetically on both sides, so it can clamp onto clothing, a strap or a supplied mount without a cage or a screw. That is what makes it quick to reposition mid-activity — and worth double-checking before anything high speed.
Should I buy the 64GB or 128GB version?
The storage is built in and not expandable, so decide honestly. 64GB suits short clips and day trips; 128GB suits longer sessions, travel and anyone who offloads footage infrequently. The price gap is usually small — check the live comparison below.
What does 13.5 stops of dynamic range mean?
It is how much detail the camera holds between deep shadow and bright highlight in a single shot. More stops means skies that stay blue rather than blowing out while faces and foregrounds stay visible — genuinely impressive for a camera this size.
